History

Unity Seeds began 15 years ago as a family business owned by Cathy and Earl Standish. Still an independently owned company Cathy states, "Back 10 to 20 years ago, the large seed companies had a significant edge in genetics". Cathy points out, "Today top corn genetics are available to independent companies in the industry. We choose specific genetics for our customers, and our marketing and distribution model makes those hybrids available at a better value."

Cathy also recognizes another benefit to being the country's largest family-owned, direct marketer of seed. "We're a family business selling to family businesses. We believe that helps us build a special bond of understanding with our customers."
